Some of my favorite things to do are reading, listening to podcasts and music, and watching TV shows and movies. Inevitably, while consuming stories and information, I come across quotes that affect me or pertain to my life or the lives of those around me. Most of these blog posts explore those quotes.
I started a new non-fiction / self- improvement book the other day… okay, last week. But I’ve been finding myself a little unenthusiastic to get into it.
Does that ever happen to you with books? Or with life? You choose a book – or you choose to do a thing – and then you let yourself get distracted, or you procrastinate seemingly for no reason.

I am not feeling well.
I have been in a state of not feeling well for over a month now. I’ve caught some crazy cold that seems to be a rollercoaster of worsening symptoms, then better and back again while never really going away and I tell ya, it is not pleasant.
